Candice Bereal Williams MD is an anesthesiologist and Pain Management specialist from Los Angeles, CA. She attended Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California and completed her degree in Molecular Cell Biology in 2001 at the University of California, Berkeley. While there she participated in the Biology Scholars Program, which assisted her in navigating the sciences and her premedical classes. She attended UCLA for medical school during which time she outreached to minority premedical and medical students through her involvement in Student National Medical Association. After her third year of medical school, Dr. Wililams participated in the Clinical Research Training Program at the National Institutes of Health studying vascular dysfunction in sickle cell disease resulting in 3 publications.

Her interest in admissions lead her to serve on the UCLA Medical School admissions committee during medical school and she continues to serve as a subcommittee member. After completing her residency training at UCLA in Anesthesiology in 2012 and working as an attending anesthesiologist for 2 years in private practice, Dr. Williams pursued specialization and board certification in Pain Management. She currently works in Los Angeles, CA serving a diverse population of patients undergoing an array of pain management procedures. She has a dedication to serving underserved communities through medical practice and by helping increase the number of underrepresented minorities pursuing medicine.
